Looking back, I'd have to say that 2011 was an amazing year. Was it better than 2010? Definitely. I learned a lot this year, about myself and others. Just thought I'd share some of my favorite moments. :)(in no particular order)
Auditioned to win a chance to audition for the XFactor in Chicago. Didn't get a call back, but I wasn't really expecting to. I nailed the audition, tho and I was SHOCKED that I didn't chicken out. This was a HUGE thing for me. AND I DID IT.
Drove in unfamiliar city territory. Scared the hell outta me, but my cousin Alicia and I had a blast getting lost!! Even tho we got to our destination too late to see the bands, it was still worth it. :)
Lost some weight, gained some weight, lost some more. Ugh. It's a yo yo. Some of my favorite memories are at the YMCA in Wilmington. It's always fun when you have work out buddies. Loved every minute of it. Especially since it brought me closer to a few of my favorite people. (you know who you are!!
My unexpected drunken singing debut at The Tavern. haha, oh man....THAT was fun!! And my birthday Karaoke night with my Dad. Made a few new friends, so that was way awesome, too! :)
I actually dated a couple of guys in 2011. Got back on the horse, so to speak. (shush it pervs, I didn't mean it THAT way!) Learned a lot and am grateful to know both of those guys. It may not have worked out, but every relationship is a learning experience and for that, I THANK YOU BOTH. I wish you happiness and love.
OH and I can't forget the night at Uncle Luie's in Wilmington. Def Leppard + drunk Cass + stripper pole= really funny Youtube videos....lmao (Tiff, Amber, Jess, Mandy, and Grant--that night was a BLAST! Thank You!) And thanks for not letting me knock out that drunk asshole! lol
All in all, it wasn't a bad year. Had some emotional set backs, but got through it. I have high hopes for 2012. This is gonna be MY year, baby!!! :)
